OBJECTIVES

  • Military experience in training, supervising, project management and working with regulated training systems.
  • Fluency in Asian languages including Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese.
  • Expert user of computers platforms (Windows, Linux, SunOS) and related office software.

EXPERIENCE

Training Development

  • Coordinated training for data-collections personnel in various field sites dispersed over a 300 mile radius when deployed in Afghanistan.
  • Authored training manuals, detailing all operations and procedures for a deploying Linguists.
  • Designed office procedures; developed personnel policy on handling employee conduct.

Project Development and Management

  • Led an assessment to redeploy equipment in Afghanistan: evaluated risks, communicated with field leaders and made presentations to Battalion Commanders.
  • Spearheaded a recall program for military equipment, successfully accounting for all machines with a total estimated value of $2.4 million dollars.
  • Served as a Liaison between US Navy and Korean Husbandry Services, to ensure the safe anchoring of US ships.

Supervision & Leadership

  • Supervised a small team of three employees overseeing data collection and processing.
  • Attended meetings, and finalized paperwork, as the designated supervisor.
  • Designed office procedures; developed personnel policy on handling employee conduct.
  • Oversaw the record keeping, tracking of training hours required for employees.

Written and Oral Communication

  • Made presentations to officials to get approval and funding for operations.
  • Effectively counseled team leaders and supervisors.

Evaluations

  • Sat through qualification boards, ensuring the trainee’s knowledge and skills meet with standards.
  • Evaluated training courses and their instructors to improve training methods for future students.
