- Lifetime experience interpreting between Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English. Have interpreted and translated for school events, official school documents, academic papers, and government documents.
- More than 5 years of experience in the US Navy, translating, editing, and interpreting between Korean, Chinese, and English. Usually involving military and government-related topics, which includes economics, law, technology, and social sciences.
- Hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
EXPERIENCE
Translation/Editing
- Efficiently translated 1000 pages in a 50-hour time frame.
- Edited translations of 24 other linguists, to ensure the English grammar and correct vocabulary fit the context within the document.
Interpretation
- Served as a Liaison between US Navy and Korean Husbandry Services, to ensure the safe anchoring of US ships.
- Interpreted to Republic of Korea Army personnel, the intent of US military higher-ups intentions to deploy sensitive US equipment on Republic of Korea vehicles under US supervision.
Project Development
- Broadened my understanding of current issues surrounding North Korea’s geo-political and military structure through extensive independent research.
- Provided in-depth explanations on language grammar, paralleling examples between Korean, English, and Chinese.

- Made presentations to officials to get approval and funding for operations
